Extension of Time to Receive Ballots for Annual Budget Vote and Board of Education Election

Governor Andrew Cuomo, in Executive Order 202.39, issued on June 8, 2020, has extended the deadline for the receipt of mailed ballots, only, until June 16, 2020. The actual date of the vote, by law, remains June 9, 2020. The executive order allows for the district to receive ballots that may be lagging through the post office.

Per the governor's order, the ballot drop box will be removed from the front of the District Office at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9 and ballots which are hand delivered to said building, after that time, will not be included in the count.

The tabulation of the votes will commence on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. The Board of Education will meet to accept the results upon the completion of the count.

Thank you.
