Congratulations to Sachem’s Leonardo Villacreses on being named the 2026 Section XI Sportsmanship Award winner for boys tennis!
Villacreses' outstanding skill on the court was matched by his patience, discipline, respect for the game, and competitive spirit throughout the season.
His exemplary conduct was on full display during his postseason run as he proudly represented Section XI at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Championships at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
This recognition celebrates the character, integrity, and sportsmanship that define high school athletics, and Leonardo represented Sachem with tremendous pride every step of the way.
