Members of the Sachem East and Sachem North Model United Nations clubs attended a conference at Bayshore High School on Saturday, Oct. 27, joined by advisors Mrs. Gearns and Ms. Seifert. Students worked hard to prepare for this event which involved taking on the roles of various countries, researching and addressing major world issues. In the spirit of cooperation and diplomacy, they spent the day problem-solving, negotiating, collaborating and drafting resolutions with teams from several local schools.
