October marked Alternative and Augmentative Communication Awareness Month and in celebration, students at Wenonah Elementary School learned about the different ways that people can communicate.

The Wenonah speech therapy team led several activities including a read-aloud of Something to Say About My Communication Device by Eden Molineux, core word activities and a Bingo scavenger hunt. Wenonah students who use communication devices even taught their peers about how they use them.
