On Saturday, May 25, Sachem East softball won the program’s first Section XI County Championship. This is the first Sachem softball county championship since 1993.
Also, Senior Olivia DeRose made her 500th career strikeout. In the game, she gave up 0 runs on four hits, and totaled eight strikeouts.
