Sachem High School East social worker Lacey Donlon-Kraker was selected to represent Team North America at the Ball Hockey 4v4 World Cup. Ms. Donlon-Kraker will travel to the Dominican Republic next month for the international event. This opportunity is the culmination of her 11 years of dedication to the sport, with the past two and a half years focused on achieving this goal.
This marks the most recent accomplishment of Ms. Donlon-Kraker’s ball hockey career. Additionally, this past year, she was selected by the National Ball Hockey League to be in the women’s elite league. This league is comprised of the top 100 women ball hockey players in the U.S. and Canada. Ms. Donlon-Kraker’s team made it to the championship game, which was highlighted on the NHL Network.
