Getting Started with ParentSquare

For Parents and Guardians

 

Sachem uses ParentSquare as our communication platform. Through ParentSquare, you will receive district, school and classroom updates and can access everything from your phone or computer. This guide will help you activate your account, find helpful resources, and download the free ParentSquare app so you can start receiving updates from your school.

 

Activate your ParentSquare account

You can navigate to Click here to Visit ParentSquare's Website or download the app and create a ParentSquare account, To make sure your account properly functions, make sure to use the cell phone number or email address that you used when registering your child.

Need help with your account?

Contact your child’s school if:

  • A name is spelled wrong
  • Your email address or phone number is incorrect
  • A child is missing from your account

 

Access Helpful Resources

When you’re logged in, you can access resources to help you with using ParentSquare.

 

  • On a computer, click the question mark (?) in the top menu.
  • In the app, tap the Help icon for these options:
    • Contact School - Send a question or find contacts
    • Help Articles - Search for answers or guides

 

ParentSquare Invitation from Sachem

From time to time, the district may send out reminder invitations for users that have not yet created an account.  If you happen to have received one of these invitations, please see the directions below.  Once logged in, you will begin to see information regarding your children or school, including posts, events and direct communications.

  • Open the invitation from ParentSquare in your email or text messages.
  • Click Activate Your Account or tap the link to go to the account registration page.
  • Enter your email or cell phone number used to register your child, then click Get Started.
  • Check/Correct any contact information, and click Confirm. You’ll receive a code by text or email.
  • Enter the verification code received as a text or email when asked.
  • You’ll see your children’s names. Click Confirm next to each child who should be connected to your account. If a child is listed by mistake, click Not my child.
  • If everything looks correct, click Yes, this is me.
