The win marks Sachem North’s second consecutive county dual meet championship, reinforcing the program’s place atop Suffolk County wrestling.

With the team title hanging in the balance, heavyweight Valdey Pierre stepped onto the mat at 285 pounds and delivered a dominant performance against Brian Csoban, controlling the match from start to finish and sealing the victory for the Arrows. Pierre’s win not only clinched the championship but also kept him in the conversation as the best in his weight class in Suffolk County with a 30–0 record this season.

With the title secured, the Arrows now advance to the New York State Dual Meet Finals, continuing a postseason run that has already produced another memorable chapter in program history.
