communityThe Sachem Central School District will bring together families, cultures, and community resources for the Fourth Annual Sachem Community Celebration, set for Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Samoset Middle School.

The free event, open to all, is designed to highlight the diversity and vibrancy of the Sachem community while connecting residents with valuable local resources and services. Organizers say the celebration continues to grow each year, reflecting the district’s commitment to inclusion, engagement, and community pride.

Attendees can expect a wide range of activities and experiences, including live music, cultural cuisine, arts and crafts, interactive games, and live performances representing various traditions and backgrounds. Local businesses and organizations will also be on hand to offer information, services, and support for families.

A key focus of the event is providing families with free resources to help strengthen connections between residents and the many programs available throughout the Sachem area.

The celebration will also showcase the rich cultural identities that make up the district, offering students and families an opportunity to share traditions, learn from one another, and build a deeper sense of community.

With something for all ages, organizers emphasize that the event is not only a celebration but also a welcoming space where everyone belongs.

“Free event — all are welcome” remains the central message, as Sachem prepares for another afternoon of unity, culture, and community spirit.
