Sachem Academy Celebrates 2026 Graduating Class

The Sachem Academy proudly celebrated its graduation ceremony, recognizing four students who successfully completed the program and reached an important milestone in their educational journey.

Established two years ago, Sachem Academy was created as an alternative learning pathway designed to meet the diverse academic and personal needs of Sachem students. The program provides a supportive, student-centered environment that emphasizes individualized instruction, personal growth and pathways to future success.

During the ceremony, family members, faculty and district administrators gathered to honor the graduates and celebrate their accomplishments. Each student was recognized for their perseverance, dedication and commitment to achieving their goals.

Sachem Academy Director Ralph Carusillo praised the graduates for their resilience and determination throughout their educational journeys.

"Today is a special day not only for our graduates, but for everyone who has supported them along the way," Carusillo said. "These students have demonstrated tremendous growth, perseverance and character. I could not be prouder of what they have accomplished. As only the second graduating class in Sachem Academy history, they have helped shape the identity of this program and shown what is possible when students are given the support, opportunities and encouragement they deserve."

The ceremony highlighted the academy's continued commitment to providing innovative educational opportunities that help students thrive both academically and personally. As Sachem Academy continues to grow, the success of its graduates serves as a testament to the program's mission of empowering students to reach their full potential and prepare for the next chapter of their lives.
