Sachem’s Stuff-A-Bus Campaign Brings Community Together to Stock Food Pantry

Fifteen schools, two days and an incredible outpouring of generosity made Sachem’s second annual Stuff-A-Bus campaign a tremendous success.

Hosted by the Sachem High School North Interact Club, the collection brought students, faculty and staff together to support the Sachem Food Pantry and help neighbors in need. Donations collected across the district will go directly to the pantry, providing an important resource for local families.

Over two days, club members visited 15 schools to collect donations, turning a districtwide effort into a meaningful demonstration of community service. Each stop reflected the Sachem school community's generosity and a shared commitment to caring for one another.

Special thanks go to Christy Zummo and the Sachem North Interact Club’s student leaders for organizing and executing the campaign. Their planning, coordination and hard work gave schools throughout the district an opportunity to contribute to a common cause.

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make Stuff-A-Bus a success. Together, the Sachem community is helping keep the pantry stocked and supporting families right here at home.
