Members of Sachem East’s a cappella group, ICONIC, attended the Centereach A Cappella Invitational on Saturday, May 11. The day-long event included a riff-off, a performance by the New York City-based a cappella group Black to Gold, masterclass workshops, and showcase performances from ten a cappella groups from all over Long Island. ICONIC opened the showcase performing “Believer” by Imagine Dragons and “Should’ve Been Us” by Tori Kelly. The group has been invited to join upcoming invitationals for the 2024-2025 school year.
