The Board of Education thanked and honored Superintendent of Schools Dr. Christopher Pellettieri ahead of his retirement at its July 24 meeting. The Board of Education presented Dr. Pellettieri with a plaque that reads, “Appreciation for the countless years given to our community and inspiring students in the Sachem Central School District.”

President Robert Scavo read a message on behalf of the Board to thank Dr. Pellettieri for his years of service.

“As you embark on the next chapter of your journey, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for your exceptional leadership and your unwavering dedication over the past four years,” said Mr. Scavo. “Your tenure as our superintendent has left an indelible mark on our school district – touching the lives of students, educators and families alike. Under your guidance, we’ve witnessed remarkable growth and achievement. Your vision of excellence has set a high standard that has inspired us all to reach further and dream bigger.”

The entire Sachem Central School District thanks Dr. Pellettieri for his efforts, leadership and commitment, and wishes him the best in his retirement.
