Sachem High School East senior Michael Lubniewski has been named a semifinalist in the 2025 Coca-Cola Scholars Program. This year, 1,336 students were selected as semifinalists from more than 105,000 applicants. They were selected based on their academic excellence, leadership and service demonstrated in both school and community activities.
250 students will advance to the next step in the competition and be named regional finalists. From there, 150 scholars will be named and will be awarded a $20,000 college scholarship.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is the largest corporate-sponsored, achievement-based scholarship program in the United States. This year will mark its 37th class of scholars.
