Waverly Elementary School students got outside and kicked off Thanksgiving festivities during the annual Turkey Trot on Nov. 15. Students lined up at the start by grade level, racing through a course with obstacles along the way. Students who raised the most money as part of the Turkey Trot fundraiser won a special prize – the chance to pie Principal Mr. Tougher at the end of the day!
