The Lynwood Avenue Destination Imagination team finished in second place out of 50 teams in their category at the competition’s global finals. The global finals were held in Kansas City, Missouri, and brought together student-teams from more than 30 countries. The Lynwood team participated in the scientific challenge, which tasked them with blending scientific research and performance art.

To qualify for the global finals, Lynwood’s team earned first place at the regional competition as well as at the state competition. While each tournament was highly competitive, Lynwood Avenue Elementary School consistently came out on top!
