The Sachem Central School District is celebrating its 70th year as a district and held Sachem Day to commemorate the milestone. The celebration took place on Nov. 2 at High School North. The morning kicked off with a 5K race, followed by a fun run and performances from the elementary school pep squads. Attendees even cheered on building mascots as they raced down the track.

A portion of the proceeds from Sachem Day benefits the Sachem PTA Council Scholarship Fund. Sachem pride was on full display throughout the event, celebrating the district’s legacy while supporting current Sachem students and schools.
