At the Nov. 6 Board of Education meeting, the Board and administration recognized two staff members at Seneca Middle School for their life-saving efforts during choking incidents. Renee Elliott and Virginia Meric were instrumental in helping students by performing the Heimlich Maneuver. Superintendent of Schools Ms. Trombetta thanked both staff members for their quick-thinking and action in these situations.
