Students and staff across the Sachem Central School District celebrated P.S. I Love You Day on Feb. 9. Buildings across the district were decorated in purple as the Sachem community dressed in the color to spread the message of the annual day – to promote love, support and end the stigma surrounding mental health.

Students embraced Sachem’s Culture of Care through P.S. I Love You Day activities including writing kind notes to each other, creating displays of love and positivity to hang in the hallways and working with peer educators from both high schools. Additionally, several buildings held spirit weeks to kick off the P.S. I Love You Day festivities and bring school communities together.
