The Sachem Central School District greeted new students and families during the Welcome to Sachem event on Aug. 22 at Seneca Middle School. The event featured fun activities for incoming students including circus tricks, balloon animals, face painting, raffles and a backpack giveaway. Families had the opportunity to visit with building representatives, the Sachem Public Library, the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office and SCOPE Education Services. It was a wonderful way to bring the Sachem community together ahead of the school year!
