The Sachem East varsity cheerleading team has once again proven their dominance, securing the 2025 New York State Class A Championship title. This victory marks a historic achievement for the program, as they successfully defended their crown after winning their first-ever state championship last season.

Under the leadership of coach Victoria Aghabekian, the team showcased their dedication, skill and determination, outperforming top teams from across New York. Reflecting on the win, coach Aghabekian expressed her pride, stating, “I am extremely proud of this team that has worked incredibly hard all season and performed their best against the top teams in New York.”
